She’s become an unlikely star in the States since appearing on Britain’s Got Talent and last night Susan Boyle cemented her success with a sensational performance on Dancing With The Stars.

The Scottish singer, dressed in a floor length black gown, wowed the audience on the U.S. version of Strictly with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream.

The 48-year-old looked thrilled to be back in the spotlight as she took to the stage.

And there was more British success to celebrate as Kelly Osbourne, daughter of Ozzy and Sharon, made it through to the semi-finals on the show.

Boyle’s appearance comes after she spoke for the first time about her decision to check herself into the Priory clinic after losing out to dance act Diversity.

‘Everything had built up and I was exhausted,’ she told the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine. You have to understand, my life ceased to be normal when Britain’s Got Talent went live.
‘There were a lot of press people outside my door, a lot of television people, a lot of people who wanted a piece of me.

‘I thought, “God, what’s happening here. I’m a reasonable singer, but I never expected that.”‘

It was like being inside a giant pressure cooker, where the lid bubbles up and bubbles up and soon the pressure cooker goes.’

Miss Osbourne narrowly avoided being eliminated from the show last night.

The 25-year-old was saved by the audience of a tense showdown with US singer Aaron Carter.

Aaron’s exit sparked emotional scenes as judge Len Goodman made a heartfelt speech to him.

‘You’re an inspiration to all young people that anything is possible,’ he said. ‘If you were my son I would be so proud of you. But more important, you be proud of yourself, because you’ve been great.’

The reality show star found herself in the bottom two despite receiving high praise from the judges.

After struggling in the show’s first few weeks, Kelly finally won her highest marks of the series with her impressive jive in a green wig.

Bruno said: ‘Groovy baby. Come back to daddy. That was great. It was jiving all the way down to Carnaby Street, Mary Quant, Austin Powers…

And he cried. That’s what we can tell you happened after the show for Aaron Carter backstage at Dancing With the Stars last night, after he got the heave-ho.
Truth told, the poor guy was almost inconsolable and choked up during the interview. “Of course it’s sad,” he told us after the show. “You know how it is. But I’m glad we made it this far.”

“It just feels empty now,” his partner, Karina Smirnoff, added. “Like we were taken away.”

On the flip side, another contestant was bouncing off the walls with excitement that it was Aaron who was going home. Who was it?

Kelly Osbourne, and that should come as no surprise, given that it came down to Kelly or Aaron getting the boot. “I wanted to scream really loud [when they called Aaron's name],” she admits to us. “But I thought, ‘Uh-oh, Aaron’s standing right next to me!’” She added, “Aaron came every week and kicked butt, even with everything everyone was saying about him.”

“Never in a million years did I think I’d be here [in the final four],” Kelly beamed. “And it feels f–king amazing!”

Joanna Krupa was also pulling a Lionel Richie and dancing on the, well, you know. “I’m loving being saved first!” she gushed. “Next week we have the cha-cha, Viennese waltz and salsa. Three dances. We’re just not gonna sleep. We’re robots now, so we don’t need sleep.”

Donny Osmond was feeling the love for Aaron, with whom he apparently had some kind of bromance. “He’s a teen idol. I’m a former teen idol, so we have that common denominator, and we had some really good talks. I’m so proud of him. The guy worked his tail off. We’re going to miss him.”

Do you think Aaron deserved to be sent packing? And who is now the frontrunner to win? Is Mya still the leader of the pack?

The famous coconut has spread across much of the tropics, probably aided in many cases by seafaring people. Coconut fruit in the wild is light, buoyant and highly water resistant and evolved to disperse significant distances via marine currents. Fruit collected from the sea as far north as Norway are viable. In the Hawaiian Islands, the coconut is regarded as a Polynesian introduction, first brought to the islands by early Polynesian voyagers from their homelands in Oceania. They are now almost ubiquitous between 26°N and 26°S except for the interiors of Africa and South America.
